Step 1: Open File Explorer:
- Navigate to the “Start” menu or click the folder icon on the taskbar to open the File Explorer.

- Select the drive or folder where you want to create the new folder.

Editing Folders
Step 1: Locate the Folder:
- Open the File Explorer and navigate to the folder you want to edit.
Step 2: Rename the Folder:
- Right-click on the folder, select “Rename,” and type the new name for the folder. Press “Enter” to save the changes.
Step 3: Reorganize the Folder Structure:
- Drag and drop the folder into a new location within the File Explorer to reorganize your folder structure as needed.
Deleting Folders
Step 1: Locate the Folder:
- Open the File Explorer and navigate to the folder you want to delete.
Step 2: Select the Folder:
- Click on the folder to select it. You can select multiple folders by holding down the “Ctrl” key while clicking on each folder.
Step 3: Delete the Folder:
- Right-click on the selected folder(s) and choose “Delete” from the context menu. Alternatively, you can press the “Delete” key on your keyboard.
Step 4: Confirm Deletion:
- A confirmation prompt will appear. Click “Yes” to confirm the deletion. The folder and its contents will be moved to the Recycle Bin.
Recovering from the Recycle Bin
Step 1: Open the Recycle Bin:
- Double-click the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop to view the deleted folders.
Step 2: Locate the Folder:
- Find the folder you want to recover from the list of deleted items.
Step 3: Restore the Folder:
- Right-click on the folder and choose “Restore” from the context menu. The folder will be restored to its original location before deletion.
Step 4: Confirm Restoration:
- Open the original location of the folder to ensure it has been successfully restored.
